Key Responsibilities
- Daily setup of the golf course (moving tee markers, changing cups, trash pickup, etc.)
- Routine raking of bunkers
- Operation of small, handheld equipment (weed eaters, edgers, blowers, etc.)
- Mulching of straw and hardwood beds
- Hand pruning of shrubbery
- Ball mark repair and divot filling
- Operation of mowers to maintain grounds
- Perform daily tasks necessary to keep the maintenance facility clean, organized, and safe
- Cleaning of machinery after each use
Qualifications
- Strong communication and ability to work alone
- Must possess a driver’s license
- Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Knowledge of the game of golf is a plus, but not required
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays as-needed
Physical Requirements
- Ability to walk or ride for extended periods
- Ability to communicate clearly in person and by radio or phone
- Ability to work outdoors for long shifts
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
