Key Responsibilities
- Greet and check in golfers in a friendly and professional manner
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system for green fees, cart rentals, merchandise, and food & beverage
- Answer phones, manage tee times, and assist with reservations
- Provide basic course information, policies, and directions to guests
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pro shop and counter area
- Stock and display merchandise
- Assist with tournaments, outings, and special events
- Enforce course rules and ensure pace of play standards
- Work cooperatively with outside staff and management
Qualifications
- Must be reliable, punctual, and professional
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable handling cash and operating a register
- Interest in golf or sports is preferred (not required)
- Must be able to work weekends, mornings, evenings, and holidays as needed
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
