Key Responsibilities
- Manage tee times and send groups off the first tee on schedule
- Greet golfers and provide course rules, pace-of-play expectations, and local information
- Monitor pace of play throughout the course
- Communicate with golfers to help keep play moving smoothly
- Enforce course policies in a friendly, professional manner
- Assist players with on-course questions or concerns
- Coordinate with the Pro Shop and cart staff regarding delays or issues
- Provide on-course customer service and support
- Assist with tournaments, outings, and special events
Qualifications
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional when addressing issues
- Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Knowledge of golf rules and etiquette preferred
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Must be available to work mornings, weekends, and holidays
Physical Requirements
- Ability to walk or ride for extended periods
- Ability to communicate clearly in person and by radio or phone
- Ability to work outdoors for long shifts
